Some Random Updates

Good afternoon everyone. I should have something more meaty to post here, but I'm kind of wonky this afternoon but wanted to drop in. I'm still waiting to hear back from Google adsense on monetizng the blog. I currently have a free tier for anyone who wants the newsletter. I still won't have any paywalls up once evrerything is up and running.

The idea is I'll go to the paid tier if you want the ad-free newsletter. Or free and you can read it on the blog with ads. That way I can maintain the site and maybe see some fruit from cranking out blogs. Its fun, but I'd like it to be my fun day job if that is even a possibility. But we'll see what happens. That's the big update

I'm not sure how long I can do daily blogs multiple times a day for. I really enjoy doing them which is why I do them. But I also don't want to burn myself out. I have this driving need to create content and see if I can get the dopamine from engagement. I'm also in a bit of a hurry to grow this blog if I'm being honest. One of my faults I'm well aware of.

So, there may be some weeks I only have 1-3 posts a week instead of multiple times a day. Or maybe not. Once again, I'm literally flying by the seat of my pants here and making this all up as I go.

For the most part everything else will stay the same. I'll talk about art, mental health, or whatever other thing is stuck in my head at a given time. I appreciate you all sticking around for the shit show. We have cookies here! Just kidding, no actual cookies, but there is weird art and humorous anecdotes.

I hope to go on some weekend adventures so I'll have some tales to blog about. I was going to go for a walk or hike today. Its warmer out today, but also wet, foggy and muddy. So no outside adventures. Perhaps this weekend. We have a pile of laundry we need to do at the laundromat. There is usually always something funny happening there. I live in a big city so I can walk aroudn pretty much anywhere and have a story to tell.

I'm not sure what tomorrow's topic will be yet, but I'll come up with something good. Maybe a fun fake clickbait story! Kidding. I seriously hate those.
