My Art from Today and Analysis
I didn't get a fancy blog done today, my apology one was pretty heavy, and I just felt kind of off today. I did do a lot of art by hand on my tablet and I feel like taking a few months to do other things has really elevated my art to new levels. I've always leaned into abstract art. Partly because I admit I just can't draw. I do draw sometimes, but its usually pretty bad or sloppy.
Its not for lack of trying, drawing has never ever been my strong suit and when I do try it, they come out looking like cartoons. So I focus on what comes more natural to me. Since starting up art again, I do my art on a Samsung Tablet on Infinite Painter. I would love more than anything to paint on great big canvases, smear paint every where and use a variety of tools and random objects to spread it around into different shapes and patterns.
But I don't have that kind of room or resources, so I stick to digital. Lately I feel my art has been more focused and intentional with various layers and textures. Maybe its my new medication. My doctor just put me on an ADHD medication to help me focus, so maybe its kicking in. But either way my paintings have been much more impactful. Here is what I have today.
I have a few favorites among these, but I'm very proud of all of them. I added them each to the Shop if anyone would like prints. I wish I had these on canvas and I think I could get them printed on canvas, but that would be expensive which is why I just do posters for now. If anyone would really want a canvas, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
In the meantime, its late and my eyes are kind of glassy, so I'll cut this short. Thank you all again for supporting me on this journey and being a part of it. Talk again soon.
